the shop, in agreement with cracked anegg records, is open to all artists and labels, who wish to take advantage of this modern distribution tool for their music. those interested are invited to contact office@crackedanegg.com. the range of music available in the crack shop is enlarged by about 7-10 cds per month - register for our newsletter and receive information about our new additions.

registration - login:
as a registered customer you have the following advantages in our shop:
> shopping cart: each article remains registered in the shopping cart until you go to the check-out or until you remove the product.
> crack shop account: through your registration a free crack shop account is automatically set up for you which you may use for the payment of your purchases. you can check the status of your crack shop account at any time, it will be shown automatically after your login (below the shopping cart). to use your crack shop account you first need to have funds available on it and you can do this by purchasing a voucher or getting a gift-voucher from a dear friend. if you are using your crack shop account for your purchase, the minimum order value of 5 euros is no more relevant.
> orders: you can get an overview of all orders placed or check on individual orders at any time.
> address book: you can store up to a maximum of 10 different addresses for delivery or for billing. you can choose any of the address book as the delivery address for each purchase and, of course, the billing address and the delivery address can be different - the perfect way for a birthday present!
> recommandation: as a registered customer you can recommend any product per email to a friend. this feature is only available when you are logged in.

dispatch information:
our products will be dispatched by registered post using the austrian postal service, either registered letter or standard letter on your own risk and parcel delivery, for dispatch abroad we use economy tarif.

purchasing/payment:
we offer various methods of payment for your purchases:
credit cards (american express, diners club, jpc, master card/secure code, visa/verified-by visa), maestro secure code, netpay (direct payment from your bank account) with all major banks in austria; paypal-system from ebay and bank transfer within the eu. in addition, a crack shop account will be automatically set up for you when you register (find more infos about the crack shop at registration-login). For your purchase a minimum oder value of 5 euros is required.
 
some technical information regarding the downloads:
we have opted for the customer-friendly mp3-format (not drm protected) and hope that you respect this through responsible handling of the material. all music is available solely for your personal use and must not be used for further distribution or resale. itunes (v6.01) was used as the encoder for the creation of the mp3-downloads. the bit rate is 192kbit/s (since 04/10 256kbit/s und 320kbit/s). the tag contains the following information: album, artist, title, composer, musicians, label, year, track number, genre, cd-number, cover (if existing).  mp3tag was used as the editor for tagging.
