description: at the end of a long period of touring the :xy-band gave a concert as part of the jazzwerkstatt wien 2006. the live recording of this energetic concert provides a very good example of the awesome development of the band since their first cd in 2005. the tracks recorded at that time also provide the raw material for the second cd,  „blue silk remix“ on which, apart from fascinating tracks produced by wolfgang schiftner, michael hornek and christof dienz, high-class club acts such as dephazz and irina karamarkovic also appear. a successful mix of club and artistic components which also includes a visual remix movie.

beschreibung: als abschluß einer längeren tourperiode spielte die :xy-band im rahmen der jazzwerkstatt wien 2006. der live-mitschnitt dieses energetischen konzertes ist ein sehr gutes beispiel für die großartige entwicklung dieser band seit ihrer ersten cd im jahr 2005. die damals im studio aufgenommenen tracks liefern auch das ausgangsmaterial für die zweite cd "blue silk rmx" bei der neben den spannend produzierten tracks von wolfgang schiftner, michael hornek und christof dienz auch hochkarätige clubacts wie dephazz und irina karamarkovic zum zug kommen. eine gelungene mischung aus club- und kunstbeiträgen inklusive einem visual rmx movie.
